IMPORTANT LAST MINUTE INFORMATION

Hi Team,

We are all set for CCC in Winnipeg!

Below are important rules and information:
1. Time control: 25 minutes for each player with 5 second delay


 
2. No clock for Grades 1-3:  clocks can be added if necessary after 40 minutes. The clocks are then set for 10 minutes with 5 second delay. If both players agree, a clock may be used at the start of the game.
 
3. Pairing information should be read as follows: For example, "Quebec vs BC", Quebec (on the left hand side) will be White in Grade 1-3-5-7-9-11 and BC will be White in Grade 2-4-6-8-10-12
4. To win each round: Since there are 12 games in each round; we need 6.5 points to win
5. There will be 6 games on May 18 (3 in the morning and 3 after lunch) and 3 games in the morning of May 19
6. May 17: (time ??-anytime once you arrive I guess) Check in: Please proceed to Arthur V. Mauro Residence to check in. Usually they will give out a welcome pack (I don't find this info anywhere)
 
7. May 18: 8:55am -- Open ceremonies 
 
8. May 18: 8:15am -- Team photo. Usually will meet at the entrance. (Beau please confirm with your team)
9. May 19: Team dinner (if possible) I understand that some of you will leave right after the tournament. (Beau please confirm with your team)
Please remember to bring the following:
    Team wear and 10 BC Pins for exchange (for 9 provinces and their team captains)
   
Others:
    Big BC Flag (Beau to bring to Winnipeg)
    BC flag with stand for each player (Beau to bring to Winnipeg)
    Photos (Beau and volunteers)
    Arbiters (volunteers needed)
    Write-up report (volunteers needed)
